Step back into Southwest Florida’s past with Jim Weeks, a descendant of one of the area’s pioneering families whose roots reach back to the 1930s and the establishment of the Weeks Fish Camp on Coconut Road.
Drawing from family records, personal recollections and historical research, Jim will share stories of the Weeks family, early Estero and Bonita Springs and the commercial fishing traditions that helped shape our coastal communities.
Join us for a fascinating look at local history told through the experiences of a family that lived it.
