About the event
There’s something about where we live that is just a little bit spooky. And then there are all the ghost stories.
On Marco Island, a man still walks the waters, creating a ghost story with an odd twist. A theater in Fort Myers seems to be a meeting place for different spirits who make their home on First Street. Venice is home to the ghosts of a Ringling train coming in for winter, but the headless motorcycle rider is seen year-round.
Join author and ghostly folklorist Christopher Balzano as he shares some of the new ghost stories he’s investigated in Southwest Florida and reveals new twists on some of the old ones.
All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Bonita Springs Historical Society and its mission to honor local history and keep it alive.
